Studying and working in Germany poses particular challenges for international students and refugees. The ZQS/Key Competencies team would like to support them in successfully completing their studies, internships or career entry. Whether individual counselling or workshops – we provide tips and practical advice on all topics related to learning, studying and applying in Germany.
For students who want to study or work abroad, we offer key competencies seminars in English as well as advice and workshops on how to apply in English-speaking countries.
Our consultation is offered in German and English. A German language proficiency level of at least B2 is recommended for participation in German-language seminars and workshops as well as the qualification programmes.
Whether it's consultation, workshops or practical programmes, we support you early on in your studies to develop your career prospects, gain experience and prepare for your career entry.

Students are welcome to contact us by email for a personal consultation. The consultation can be conducted in person, by phone or video call. Alternatively, you are welcome to use our open consultation hours on campus.
