Quality management at LUH is based on the principle of the plan-do-check-act cycle (PDCA) and is understood as a continuous process aimed at continuous quality development.
Quality management at Leibniz University Hannover includes:
- clear quality goals (“plan”),
- clear responsibilities, processes and procedures for core processes in the field of study and teaching as well as extensive services for students and teachers (“do”),
- instruments to monitor the quality of study and teaching (“check”)
- and institutionalised forms of dialogue and feedback in which the quality of study and teaching is discussed, results from the various instruments contextualised and measures taken to further improve the quality of study and teaching (“act”).
