Support and assistance for a successful internship in the region

Internships are the key to a successful start to your career in Germany. Are you looking for an internship and want to be fully prepared for entering the German labour market? Our ‘My Internship’ programme offers you exactly that! We not only help you find a suitable internship, but also prepare you for your professional future in Germany with a comprehensive programme.

Target group and language skills

The programme is aimed at international students in their third bachelor's semester or first master's semester or above. A German language proficiency level of at least B2 (upper-intermediate) is recommended for participation.

Workshops

Get specific tips for a successful career start in Germany.

Topics: recognising your own potential, job search strategies, intercultural skills, application documents, self-presentation at trade fairs and in job interviews

Presence dates: 05 May 2025, 03 June 2025, 10–13 June 2025

Personalised advice

Do you have questions? We will support you with personalised advice and guidance from a designated contact person throughout the entire programme.

Contact with companies

Make your first important contacts in the world of work. We support you with, among other things:

Career Walks: visits to stands at the company contact fair Career Dates on 24/25 June 2025

Job Shadowing: short, one-day internships in a company between June and September 2025

Excursion: A company opens its doors and introduces itself in person in July/August 2025.

Internship

Gain practical experience and make your first contacts during an internship of at least four weeks in a company in the region.

Period: July to October 2025

Exchange & Network

Benefit additionally from the exchange and support within a dedicated peer group. Together you can share experiences and support each other on your way into the German labour market.

Credit Points: Credit points can be earned by successfully participating in the entire programme, including the exchange and reflection sessions.
